Canned Heat

Canned Heat ist eine Bluesrockband, deren Name von Tommy Johnsons klassischem „Canned Heat Blues“ aus dem Jahre 1928 stammt. Der Name (er bedeutet „Eingemachte Hitze“, „Hitze in Dosen“) ist eine Anspielung auf gelierten Brennspiritus. Das Produkt wird unter dem Markennamen Sterno Canned Heat als Brennpaste in Blechdosen ausgeliefert, die gleichermaßen als Verpackung und als Rechaud dienen.
