Yusef Abdul Lateef (* 9. Oktober 1920 als William Emanuel Huddleston in Chattanooga, Tennessee) ist ein US-amerikanischer Jazzmusiker. Er ist ein Multiinstrumentalist und spielt Tenorsaxofon, Altsaxofon, Flöte, Oboe, sowie selbstgebaute Instrumente. Er gilt als einer der Mitbegründer des Ethno-Jazz.

This number was a feature for Yusef Lateef on oboe; with additional solos by Joe Zawinul - piano; and a rare chance to see bassist Sam Jones stretching out. Louis Hayes is on drums. ..... And although not playing on this clip, the sextet also obviously includes Cannonball Adderley on alto sax with brother Nat Adderley on cornet.
